Several areas, including Chaguaramas, Carenage and Diego Martin, have been searched so far by the Hunters Search and Rescue Team for Zephaniah Harripaul, 33, who has been reportedly abducted
However, the team, according to a member, has had no success so far
Meanwhile, as the police investigations widen in the search for the shift supervisor of Tucker Engineering Services, they have identified a suspect who they say may be able to assist in the investigations
Guardian Media understands that investigators have so far managed to make a breakthrough in relation to identifying who the getaway car belongs to.
A police report said the car is registered to a man of Trou Macaque Road in Laventille
However, police are yet to locate the registered owner to do an interview
Police have also retrieved CCTV footage from the morning of the abduction and are currently reviewing it
According to the police report, at about 6 pm on February 16 Harripaul arrived at his workplace at Chaguaramas when at about 9.30 pm, a car entered the compound
The driver said he was on route to collect something on a ship from someone.
The report stated that Harripaul was last seen at 2.05 am on February 17, when he told a co-worker he was going to collect a flashlight.
About ten minutes after, the car was seen exiting the compound in convoy with Harripaul’s vehicle, a silver-grey Tucson
Harripaul’s family are now into their fourth day of praying and fasting for the safe return of Harripaul
On Monday night, marking the second day of prayer and fast, Harripaul’s brother, Stephen, during a Facebook live broadcast, remained steadfast in his faith and belief that his brother will soon be returned to them
“There’s a miracle around the corner. We are in great expectation home here at the Harripaul’s residence and right now my mum and them are singing and having a time of prayer,” Stephen said
“We are in a very historical time here and you are going to be part here of a great miracle and not for moment I will allow anyone else to take the glory for what God, for what Jesus, is about to do in this situation,” he added
To date, there has been no ransom demand for Harripaul’s return
